Soft Seedlings Technique Cards

Let's go to the beach!

The weather here in Virginia is always a roller coaster this time of year! One day you have snow flurries and the next day you are wearing short sleeves and it's 70 degrees! Well this gal has had enough of winter and I'm looking forward to sunny days at the beach! Every Wednesday at Noon ET, I come to you live on my Creating with Colleen FaceBook channel to share some stamping inspiration. It's a time for you to take a break and enjoy lunch while I create! For the month of March I have been creating cards featuring the great outdoors! Stampin' Up! has so many beautiful stamp sets that focus on the beach, mountains, rolling fields and sets like these create beautiful cards for any occasion!

Oceanfront

This first card I create features an amazing stamp set called Oceanfront. It can be found on page 39 of the January-June Mini Catalog. This set is perfect for the first time stamper or for the Avid stamper as it is beautiful and fits every occasion - even masculine which can be hard to create! In my video, I will show you a basic card and how easy this set is to use. In the 2nd card I step it up a bit. By adding various colors to your stamp and a few extra details, you have a stunning card that you will be so happy with!

Supplies: Stamp Sets: Oceanfront #157862, On the Horizon #157770. Cardstock: Bermuda Bay #131197, Mint Macaron #138337, Balmy Blue #146982, Early Espresso #119686, Basic White #159276, Shimmery White #101910. Classic Inks: Coastal Cabana #147097, Mint Macaron #147106, Crumb Cake #147116, Early Espresso #147114, Balmy Blue #147105, Bumble Bee #153116, Poppy Parade #147050. Using Stampin' Up!'s blending brushes are a must in creating beautiful scenic backgrounds. Whether the sun is setting or on the rise you get to write the story of your card through your creativity.

Waves of inspiration

This month I also showed how to combine that beautiful Oceanfront stamp set with a few other amazing bundles. One is a bundle that is a Sneak Peek from the upcoming 2022-2023 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog called Waves of Inspiration. I also included the Horizon dies from the On the Horizon bundle found on page 43 of the Jan-Jun Mini Catalog. All of these products work so well together to give you hours of fun creating.
