Ever since I was a little girl, I loved to create. Now that I’m a bit older (just a little) I think it’s so important to take a break from our busy lives to unwind and do something we really enjoy. For me that is stamping!
I attended my first Stampin’ Up! party in March of 2001. I was instantly hooked! I could not be more proud of what I created and to think I even finished the project in a small amount of time! I knew I would be investing heavily in my new hobby and I needed a way to save money. In October 2001, I joined Stampin’ Up! so I could save money on all the product I was buying. It didn’t take long before I discovered I also loved teaching others the art of rubber stamping. It was a great way to meet new friends, it was a lot of fun, and it helped supplement my income.
I could have never imagined the impact Stampin’ Up! would have on my life!
*Four years after I joined, I quit my full-time job as a drafter/AutoCAD Operator. I was able to replace that income with something I loved to do - stamping. The flexibility I had with my schedule and to work from home was priceless.
Praise God, there have been many accomplishments along the way.
*In 2007, I earned my first incentive trip. Through hard work and the support of my amazing customers and awesome team, I am still earning them today. Who would have thought that stamping could take you to places like Hawaii, Alaska, Thailand, Greek Isles and the Mediterranean just to name a few. The best part is my husband Danny gets to come too! Do I need to tell you he’s my biggest cheerleader?
*In July 2014, I was awarded Stampin’ UP’s! highest honor of serving on their Advisory Board. The experience of working so closely with the company and being a voice for the demonstrators was humbling and will always hold a special place in my heart.
I couldn’t do all of this without the support of my wonderful family. Danny and I have been married since 1981 and he is truly a gift from God. He has always supported me in every possible way and still does. We have 2 boys, Daniel and Tyler, and six amazing grandchildren. Life is good and I am so thankful, grateful and blessed!
Without a doubt, the biggest blessings I’ve received through Stampin’ Up! are the many wonderful people I’ve met through my journey. They have touched my life in so many ways. I always say; “You’re a customer once and a friend for life”. I hope you will come stamp with me and become one of those dear new friends.
