I fell in love with the Elegant Borders Dies as soon as I saw them. What a great way to dress up any project!

On my card I used Petal Pink, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. Three amazing colors that go together perfectly. With the New 2023 - 2024 Annual catalog, Stampin' Up! will have a color renovation where current colors will be leaving us and some old favorites will return. I won't know what these colors are until the end of the month so please stock up on your favorite cardstocks, inks and ink refills now! Once they're gone, they are  . . . well, Gone! So don't miss out!

Although I give you the dimensions in the video, here is a quick reference of the dimensions and colors I used.

He Is Risen Easter Card

To me, Easter is celebrating our Risen Lord as He really is the Reason for the Season! The Rejoice In Him Stamp Set on page 54 of the January - April Mini Catalog, is a great set for making Easter cards. I paired it with the Fancy Flora 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper as the colors are perfect for the spring season. When I created the picture of Jesus I wanted a softer look so I actually stamped Him on Cardstock Vellum with Stazon Ink and colored Him from behind with my Stampin' Blends. In the video, I compare the Cardstock Vellum with coloring on Basic White Cardstock so you can see the difference.

Although I give you all the measurements in the video, here is a quick glimpse of what you will need.

Irresistible Blooms Shaker Card Dims

When making a Shaker Card there are two products that will make creating super easy. First is the Foam Adhesive Strips. These strips are flexible and can form around any shape plus you get 10 yds to a pack. That's a lot of Shaker cards! Secondly, you will need something to roll around in your shaker card and the Effervescent Elements are perfect! There are 2 different sizes and there's approximately 2,300 to a pack! Whew, I'm glad I didn't have to count those! So get your cardstock cut and come create with me. You can see all the details in my video below!

Hello, Irresistible ~ Peaceful Moments Card

Stampin' Up! just released New Online Exclusive Products and you can see them Here.

We already have so many awesome existing products so I decided to combine the old with the new and I simply love this card! I used the Hello, Irresistible 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper and the Peaceful Moments stamp set. The Poppy Moments, Stylish Shapes and Split Card Textures dies all played a vital role in making this card so beautiful.

You can see how I created this card on my video below. I even share a great tip on saving cardstock! The more you save the more you can create!

For my card, I used the Pretty Peacock cardstock. It is an old In Color that will be returning when the New 2023-2024 Annual catalog is released on May 2nd! Stampin' Up! is having a color renovation so we will be losing some of our current favorite colors to make room for some new and returning colors! PLEASE stock up on all your favorite cardstocks, inks and refills now! Once a color is retired and sells out it will no longer be available. A complete list of all items retiring will be released on March 29th so I will keep you posted, but I suggest you don't wait until then. Click the Shop Now button to get started.

Favored Flowers Side Angle Card - 3 Different Ways!

The New Year got off to a great start with a New 2023 January - April Mini Catalog, our biggest sale of the year ~ Sale-a-Bration and lots of creating with beautiful new products! You can see many of my projects on my Creating with Colleen Magness YouTube Channel. Make sure you click "Videos" and "Live" as I have lots of creative ideas under each heading. I also come to you live on YouTube every Wednesday at Noon ET. You've probably had a busy morning so you take a break and watch me create!

This past week I showed how to create a Basic Side Angle Fold Card 3 different ways, the last way being a gift card holder. I used the amazing Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper that can be earned FREE during Sale-a-Bration. This sale will end February 28th and once it's gone so is the Favored Flowers designer series paper! To get yours free, simply place a minimum $50 order (before S/H & tax). It's really that easy!

Next, I wanted my card to open with an angle on both sides, hence the Double Side Angle Fold Card:

Then taking it one step further, I created a card with the look of a Double Side Angle Fold Card but made it into a gift card holder! My nephew will be getting married in July and this card will be perfect . . .  with a Visa gift card of course! The center opens and the gift card is inserted there.

To actually see how each card was made, watch my video below. You too will be creating your own Side Angle Fold Cards in no time.

To make creating even easier, I have included a .PDF with the measurements for all 3 cards. Cut all of your cardstock ahead of time and create along with me on my video. Download Side Angle Fold Card Three Ways Dimensions

Something Fancy Stamp Set
In my video, I used the Something Fancy Bundle for all of my stamping and die cutting. This is a great bundle to own as it is filled with a variety of sentiments and the dies can be used for so many other stamp set sayings. I recommend purchasing the Something Fancy Bundle and the Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins to earn your Favored Flower Designer Paper Free!
